Hanoi’s tourism sector witnessed remarkable growth in July, with a significant surge in both international and domestic visitor arrivals. This boom resulted in a total revenue of VND63 trillion (US$2.53 billion) for the industry, marking an impressive 18.9% increase. According to the Hanoi Tourism Department, the city welcomed 2.52 million visitors in July 2024, representing a 7.4% year-on-year increase. Of these, international arrivals are estimated at 425,000, indicating a substantial 20.8% rise, while domestic tourists exceeded 2.1 million, a 5% increase.
