Quy Nhon City in Vietnam covered in stunning, thick fog

The city was covered in dense fog from 5:00 to 7:00 am on Thursday, according to local residents. Both locals and tourists were amazed as the thick mist surrounded the entire city and the surrounding mountains. Benefits of ASEAN-USAID Cooperation for People in the Region

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the US Government recently organized a ceremony in Jakarta to review the ASEAN – USAID cooperation with several projects worth more than USD 26 million rolled out in five years, VNA reported. The projects, implemented since 2018, included the ASEAN – USAID Inclusive Growth in ASEAN Through Innovation, Trade and E-commerce (IGNITE), ASEAN – USAID Partnership for Regional Optimisation within the Political-Security and Socio-Cultural Communities (PROSPECT) and ASEAN Policy Implementation projects funded by the USAID and the US Department of State. Although dragons are mythical creatures, they have played a significant role in Vietnamese history and hold a special place in the hearts of the Vietnamese people. Fishing boats in Quang Ngai enjoy bumper hauls after Tet

Huynh Dinh, a resident of Duc Pho commune in Quang Ngai province, said his boat with 10 fishermen docked at Tinh Hoa fishing port with nearly 20 tonnes of various kinds of fish after being at sea for nearly one month. The first trip of the year always means a lot to fishermen. Whether catching a little or a lot, the initial voyage out to sea sets the hopes for a new year with luck and prosperity. Circus artists Quoc Co, Quoc Nghiep set new world record

They walked the 40-cm wide and 10-m long surface and climbed up and down 10 steps in 1 minute and 55 seconds. The brothers made the record at their first perfomance so they did not need to do it again. Co, 34 years old, and Nghiep, 38 years old, said that the record making at this time will a milestone that closes their successful career. In 2021, the acrobat brothers set a new world record in head-to-head balancing in Catalonia, Spain. The Vietnamese artists, with Nghiep balancing atop Co’s head, climbed 100 stairs in 53 seconds at Girona Cathedral, the same venue where they set their previous record of 90 steps in 52 seconds in 2016. Co started circus training when he was four, while Nghiep began at five. The two went professional in 1999.
