Soprano from Hanoi Unveils Multilingual New Tune

Singer Do To Hoa and rapper Ha Le have released their new single, “Shi Ni” (It’s You), in Chinese, Vietnamese, and English. The Chinese lyrics were written by Meng Ran, the Vietnamese lyrics by Pham Lich, and the English lyrics by Ha Le. “Shi Ni” was initially released in China in 2022 and quickly gained popularity, leading to various remixes in different languages. Vietnamese singer Pham Lich also covered the song and released the Vietnamese version five months ago, with over 28 million views on Pham Lich’s YouTube channel. The singer Do To Hoa and the rapper Ha Le are working on a new music project. Hoa, who won the chamber music category of the Sao Mai 2017 singing contest, obtained a master’s degree in vocal performance in China. After returning to Vietnam, she continues to showcase her talent in chamber music while exploring new styles. Hoa is keen on incorporating her Chinese heritage into her musical endeavors. Ha Nam hosts Japan traditional art exchange

Japanese artists introduced Kyogen, the first comedic art form in Japan with a history of 650 years to Vietnamese audiences. The UNESCO-recognised World Cultural Heritage mainly describes the daily life of ordinary people in the middle age. The event is also part of the Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week held from May 14 to May 20 which will see a wide range of activities, including art performances, a firework show, afirst hot air-balloon festival, and a trade fair displaying. In 2022, the Ha Nam People’s Committee and the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam successfully organised and an exchange programme on Kyogen and Cheo singing traditional art. Two Vietnamese representatives to attend Cannes festival's film market

Vietnam to host Malaysia for 2nd AFF Championship game

The highly-anticipated game will kick off at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi at 7:30 pm (Vietnam time) and will be broadcast live on the FPT Play platform and VTV Can Tho channel. Vietnam made a strong start during their first match of the tournament on December 21 as the 2008 and 2018 winners thrashed Laos 6-0 in Vientiane. Malaysia also opened their campaign with an 1-0 win over Myanmar on the same day before making light work of Laos, trouncing them 5-0 in Kuala Lumpur three days later. The Malaysians now sit atop Group B, which also features Singapore, with six points and two games played. The Vietnamese rank second in the group with three points after having played just one match.
