The Heart of Vietnam-Bulgaria Friendship: Culture and Education
The Vietnam-Bulgaria Friendship Association hosted a ceremony to celebrate Bulgarian Culture and Education Day and the Slavonic Script. The event was attended by former students who had studied, lived, and worked in Bulgaria, as well as those who cherished the nation and its people. This annual celebration, held on May 24, recognizes the traditional and modern cultural values of Bulgaria while also honoring the contributions of educators, cultural experts, students, and institutions to the development of Bulgarian education. It is also a day to commemorate the Bulgarian brothers Kiril and Metodi, the creators of the first Bulgarian alphabet, from which the “Kirilitsa” alphabet evolved into the current Slavic script.
