The Vietnamese delegation was honored to meet with His Holiness the Dalai Lama at his residence in Dharamshala. During the audience, members of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha (VBS) extended an invitation to His Holiness, requesting his presence at Vesak, a significant Buddhist celebration to be held in Vietnam in May 2025. The Vietnam Craft Village Conservation and Development Festival 2023 began on November 9 at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long in Hanoi. It brought together over 100 artisans and skilled workers from more than 40 provinces and cities across the country. The 4-day festival consists of a festival and handicraft fair, an international workshop on the preservation and development of craft villages, and various other activities.
