The National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting predicts that in the first few days of the Lunar New Year holiday, there will be light rain with sunshine in the afternoons in the North and Thanh Hoa. The weather will be cold, with some mountainous areas experiencing very low temperatures that can be harmful to people’s health. The temperature in the region is expected to gradually increase, reaching a maximum of 25 degrees. In the Northwest, some places may even see temperatures above 26 degrees. On the other hand, from Nghe An to Quang Binh, there will be rainy and freezing weather. Showers and thunderstorms are expected in some places from Quang Tri to Binh Dinh, accompanied by low temperatures. Thua Thien Hue to Quang Ngai will experience heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall ranging from 15-30mm, and in some places over 50mm.
