2023 Hue International Photography Festival Launches

Nguyen Phuoc Hai Trung, deputy director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, emphasized that the festival is being held in the country for the first time. The event has attracted the participation of 116 photographers from throughout the region, including 97 international artists from countries such as Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Sri Lanka, as well as 19 artists from localities across the country. A variety of activities will take place during the festival, including a visit to explore Hue heritages, a volunteer day for children, and a seminar on “Future World Art Photo Trends”. Additionally, the event will feature a photo contest titled “Discovering Hue heritages”, sponsored by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
