A Clean Future: Vietnam and EU Unite for Environmental Progress

On the 12th of May, Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the EU Delegation and Quang Ninh Province, organized a special event to commemorate Europe Day in Vietnam. The event, a cleanup of the marine environment in the Bai Chay area and Ha Long Bay, attracted significant attention and participation from both domestic and international delegates. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Le Thi Thu Hang, addressed the gathering, highlighting the challenges faced in marine environmental protection, including pollution, littering, and untreated wastewater. If you ever come to the Seven Mountains range, do not forget to visit “the pagoda of curved ancient trees” once, the pagoda with the “most unique entrance gate” of An Giang . Prochum Meap Chhum Kiriram Pagoda, also known as Krang Kroch, located in Chau Lang, Tri Ton, is the only Theravada temple in An Giang province with a row of curved ancient trees extending from the gate to the inside of the place. Ho Chi Minh City opens orchid festival

The five-day festival, themed “Charming Perfume and Beauty,” is aimed at celebrating Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day (April 29), Reunification Day (April 30) and International Workers’ Day (May 1). During the holiday, public workers in Vietnam have five days off. A series of programs such as an orchid exhibition, an orchid contest and a seminar on orchid will take place during this year’s event, co-held by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and other units.  Over 200 artisans and gardeners in the city and neighboring cities and provinces are participating in the festival, showcasing 29,000 orchid products. Da Nang And Sapa Among Best Destinations For A Summer Trip In Vietnam

According to the survey, up to 43% of the respondents selected the central coastal city of Da Nang for their summer vacation. The northern mountainous resort of Sapa ranked second with 33% of the respondents selecting the destination, followed by Nha Trang with 30%, Da Lat with 29%, and Phu Quoc with 22%. Most notably, Ho Chi Minh City was at the bottom of the list as it was selected by only 9% of the respondents. The survey indicates that nearly two-thirds of the respondents said they plan to go on vacation for between four and four days this summer, while up to 59% intend to make between two and three domestic trips during the course of the year. Just 12% of the respondents revealed that they will only travel in the country once for the entire year. The survey also shows Vietnamese travelers give top priority to factors such as costs, weather conditions at tourist attractions, and sightseeing tours when planning a trip.
