“Vietnam Gunma Festival 2024” Showcases Vietnamese Culture in Japan

Over the past time, the close cooperation between Gunma and Vietnamese localities has been seen as a symbol of people-to-people exchange, and a vivid demonstration of the outcomes of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia and the World between the two countries. Vietnam and China strengthen collaboration in cultural and academic exchange

The event was chaired by Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and head of its Commission for Communication and Education, Nguyen Trong Nghia, and Politburo member, Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee’s Secretariat and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, Li Shulei. During the forum, the two sides had fruitful discussions and shared valuable insights in various areas including economy, politics – society, literature, and art. Li commended the research achievements of Vietnamese experts and scholars across different fields, recognizing their positive contributions to the Vietnam – China friendship. He also expressed China’s readiness to further expand the exchange of ideas with Vietnamese counterparts on mutual concerns.
