As they drove through the district, they were amazed to see countless white storks and herons soaring above and nesting in the trees of a roadside garden. “It’s quite remarkable that despite the busy road, so many wild birds have made this garden their home,” shared Kim Tu, a local resident of An Giang Province. “Some have even nested on the tall tree branches right by the roadside.” A guardian of the garden estimates that there are thousands of wild birds nesting here. Photo: Ngoc Khai / Tuoi Tre Huynh Van Nhut, the 75-year-old caretaker of the garden, shared with Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper that the garden spans around two hectares.
