The opening of the market aims to serve tourists during the peak summer season.
The opening of the market aims to create new tourism products and services, thereby meeting the entertainment, shopping, and cuisine demands of tourists and contributing to the development of tourism services of the locality, says Bach Ngoc Hai, chairman of the People’s Committee of My An Ward.
Local authorities also organise a fair introducing typical products of Da Nang and neighbouring localities, souvenirs, and gifts to serve customers and tourists.
All products are guaranteed to be of clear origin, food safety and hygiene, and they all have price tags on them.
Foreign tourists are excited about exploring tourism services during the fair.
A night market is held on the sidewalk of Tran Bach Dang street with nearly 40 stalls selling foods and drinks to serve both tourists and locals.
Cashless payment is encouraged at the fair by QR code scanning.
Art performances are also staged at the fair to attract visitors.
The new destination aims to develop a burgeoning night-time economy in Da Nang city.
