The Sam Son Sea Tourism Festival in the northern central province of Thanh Hoa kicks off on April 27, with the event featuring a wide range of activities such as firework displays along with light and music shows. It is expected to receive more visitors as the weather gets hotter.


The Ha Long Carnival 2024 festival is expected to offer both local and foreign guests fresh experiences with fireworks, parades, and the first-ever drone light show. Firework displays, joyous street parades featuring various colourful costumes and dances on wide streets along the coast, and art performances will also be organised.


The northern province of Ninh Binh will arrange activities in one week starting from April 26 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of UNESCO recognition of the Trang An Landscape Complex as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site.


The northern mountainous province of Tuyen Quang hosts the third International Hot-air Balloon Festival from April 27 to May 2. The festival will take place at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square and will involve 22 hot-air balloons flown by foreign pilots. Visitors can also experience the festival and performances put on by DJs, as well as joining exchange activities between students and pilots of international hot-air balloons from April 28 to April 30.
