The British band 911, our special guests, kick off the show with their energetic performance of “Party People Friday Night.”
They continue to captivate the audience with their iconic hits, including “The Day We Find Love,” “How Do You Want Me To Love You,” and “I Do,” earning thunderous applause from the local fans.
The stage lights up once again as the legendary Irish music group, Westlife, makes their grand entrance.
This marks Westlife’s third visit to Vietnam, following their previous concerts in 2011 and 2023 as part of their Westlife Gravity Tour and The Wild Dreams Tour, respectively.
Unfortunately, Mark Feehily was unable to join Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne, and Shane Filan on this tour due to health issues.
Shane Filan, the charismatic lead singer, opens their performance with the beloved hit “World Of Our Own.”
Formed in Dublin in 1998, the original band consisted of Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne, and Brian McFadden. However, McFadden left the group in 2004, and after a successful 14-year career, they disbanded in 2012 before reuniting in 2018.
The trio serenaded the audience with their timeless love songs, including “My Love,” “I Lay My Love on You,” “Fool Again,” “Soledad,” “Uptown Girl,” “Seasons In The Sun,” “Flying Without Wings,” and “Swear It Again,” which were immensely popular among Vietnamese audiences.
Nicky Byrne engages with the fans enthusiastically, although he needs a little help with the lyrics during their performance of “Seasons In The Sun.”
A lucky female fan is invited on stage for a special interaction with the Irish band.
For many Vietnamese fans born in the 1980s and 1990s, Westlife’s music evokes memories of a romantic and nostalgic adolescence.
Westlife and their fan unite their voices to sing “Safe” and “You Raise Me Up,” creating a memorable moment.
The first concert in Hanoi as part of Westlife The Hits Tour 2024 concludes with the beloved melody of “My Love.” The band will perform again in Hanoi on June 5 before continuing their tour in Malaysia, Indonesia, and China.
