The Australian Embassy celebrated more than just culinary delights at this year’s event; it honored the growing bond between Australia and Vietnam, now cemented by their elevated relationship status to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Beyond the iconic Long Bien Bridge, a symbol of Hanoi’s rich history, and the architectural marvel of Sydney Harbour Bridge, this event portrayed two nations connected by literal and figurative bridges. It brought to life the essence of their partnership – a celebration of shared values and a promising future.

Guests were treated to a culinary journey, indulging in a variety of authentic Australian barbecue dishes crafted by Chef Tommy Pham and the team at the Daewoo Hotel Hanoi. The culinary delights were paired perfectly with a selection of premium Australian wines from over twenty renowned wineries.

“Taste of Australia’s Big BBQ is a unique occasion to embrace our shared tradition of connecting over food and beverage,” said Australian Ambassador to Vietnam, Andrew Goledzinowski. “While this event is special, Hanoians can savor Australian produce anytime they wish, whether at restaurants or supermarkets across the city, or even during their visits to Australia.”
