The Eternal Legacy: Hanoi Celebrates Ho Chi Minh’s Vision Through Art
THE HANOI TIMES — An exceptional artistic tribute, Nguoi la Ho Chi Minh (He Is President Ho Chi Minh), will illuminate Hanoi’s Ba Dinh Square, situated in front of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, on May 18 at 8:10 PM. This special program, celebrating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth, will be broadcast live on VTV1 and across digital platforms.
Presented by the Hanoi People’s Committee, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, and Vietnam Television (VTV), the event promises to be a memorable tribute to Vietnam’s beloved leader.

President Ho Chi Minh, an iconic figure who led the Vietnamese revolution and guided the nation with unwavering dedication.
Nguyen Trung Dung, the creative force behind this production and General Director of NetMedia, elaborates on the unique structure of the program. It revolves around the many names and aliases of President Ho Chi Minh, each deeply intertwined with the historical context and reflecting the nation’s journey. These names, he explains, are a testament to the leader’s enduring legacy and the embodiment of the Vietnamese spirit.
The program is thoughtfully divided into three distinct segments. The first, titled “Nguyen Sinh Cung – Nguyen Tat Thanh,” delves into the formative years of Ho Chi Minh, exploring the values and ideals that shaped his character.
The second part, “Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh,” spans the period from 1930 to 1975 and beyond, highlighting his absorption of progressive values, his pivotal role in the nation’s liberation, his global impact through international movements, and his historic contributions to the Party and the revolutionary cause. It also acknowledges his influence during periods of renovation, integration, and development.
