The Ly Dynasty, spanning the 11th to 13th centuries, left an indelible mark on Vietnam’s history. Known for its political prowess and economic prosperity, it was also a period of flourishing for Vietnamese Buddhism. Buddhism, as the official ideology, permeated every facet of society, influencing architecture, sculpture, music, and literature. This exhibition revives that spiritual golden age, merging history with innovation to offer a unique cultural experience.

Among the highlights are precious artifacts like the Phoenix-Head finial and a dragon-carved Bodhi leaf, illuminated through 3D mapping, holography, and gauze projection. These ancient relics are given a new lease of life, revealing their beauty and symbolic significance in a whole new light.

Step back in time to explore architectural marvels like the iconic One Pillar Pagoda and the majestic Bao Thien Tower. Visit sacred sites such as the Dam, Phat Tich, and Long Doi Pagodas. Through digital interpretation, uncover the secrets of ancient sculpting techniques, including intricate embossed carvings and symbolic patterns that adorn pottery and ceramics.

With immersive visuals and ambient soundscapes, visitors are transported to spiritual ceremonies of the past, held in temple courtyards and palace halls.

More than just an exhibition, this cultural event, organized to commemorate International Museum Day, Vietnam Science and Technology Day (May 18, 2025), and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth, serves as a bridge connecting the past with the future and tradition with innovation.
